The days that Mac and I can’t make it to the dog park, we try to take a long walk to a field outside of town. And I’m not even sure which of the two is more fun. Last night we tried to catch the last sunrays. I have to admit, we were a little late and caught more of the moon than the sun, but we still had fun.
The other dog is our lovely foster Bella, by the way. Have you thought of giving a rescue pup a temporary home? If so, contact your local Humane Society. I know that these two will love to hook you up with a pup

Hey everyone, we are so glad you are here!
Mac and I have been working around the clock lately to make this new thing happen. It’s dog photography in Manhattan, Kansas! We can’t wait to make tons of new friends, furry and human.
And I’m dreading to say it out loud, but Christmas is coming undeniably. Not even eight more weeks I believe!? Goodness, I think I need to start shopping. So, with Christmas coming up and this exciting new business in town we would like to make you a gift, too!
NOW LISTEN CLOSELY: If you are a dog owner who lives in a 20-mile-radius of Manhattan (KS 66503) you are super close to winning yourself a doggy portrait session for christmas! There is only one thing you need to do. Well, actually two things. #1 go get your phone, webcam, digicam, polaroid, film camera… anything that’s got a lens and takes pictures and snap a shot of Fido. Then comes #2, find a way to put that picture on a computer and email it to me as fast as you can (to info@modernmuttshots.com).
And then lean back and wait for the countdown. I will post all of the entries online (and will let you know when that happens) and then you and your friends and your family and your co-workers and your mailman can go crazy and vote for your favorite dog. The dog with the most votes wins, easy as that!

And because we all need to start getting ready for christmas, here is a picture of Mac. He CANNOT wait for christmas! (In his defense, he has not, yet, experienced christmas)
